In the past few years, the street has made great efforts to promote the installation of elevators through party building guidance and democratic consultation, and has "fulfilled the elevator dream" for many residents who have difficulty going up and down the stairs. Among them, Huayuan, Tao'an, Yangtze River, Daming, Minxin and other communities have been added to the elevator, and the old community has been reborn and has become a "show belt" of life. In 2023, the street will also formulate a special research project to promote the synchronous signing of 4 buildings in the aerospace community, and form the "Case of Installing Elevators in the Aerospace Community", which summarizes the experience and practices of the central urban area to promote the installation of elevators.

Zhang Jian, Secretary of the General Party Branch of Changer Residential District, emphasized the importance of party building and the key role of democratic consultation and community co-governance in solving the problem of residents' escalation. He said that the residential area will continue to put the needs of residents in the first place, make good use of community co-governance resources and residents' autonomy, and continue to promote the installation of elevators. "We must make residents always feel that there is a special person responsible for the daily promotion of the elevator, and there is a special person to answer questions and solve problems when encountering problems, so as to open up the last '100 meters' of the elevator. ”

The representative of New Changning Urban Transport Company introduced the company's active participation and innovative practices in the Huayang Community Elevator Project, including the development of "site monitoring" APP software, improving project transparency and management efficiency, and introducing a new model of "insurance + maintenance" to ensure the safety and reliability of elevator operation and maintenance in the later stage.
In addition to experience sharing, Huayang Road Street has compiled the "One-click Direct Elevator Installation Manual for Elevator Installation in Changning District" based on the "Four Sections and 16 Parts" Work Guide for Existing Multi-storey Residential Buildings, so that residents can understand the problems of "what to do" and "how to do" before installing elevators through comics, and strive to help more residents "realize the dream of adding elevators". The street will also explore follow-up management methods, strengthen the guidance of residential areas, property committees, and property management companies, balance the demands of all parties, agree on rights and obligations, and guide residents, property committees, and property management companies to determine standardized, reliable, and long-term follow-up management methods.
