On the afternoon of March 23, the U18 group of the 3rd China Youth Football League Girls' High School Age Group in 2024 kicked off at the Jiangning Base in Jiangsu Province.
This year's China Youth Championship women's U18 group, stipulated from January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2008 athletes born in the competition, each team can also register up to 5 athletes born in 2009, high school age school teams are not subject to the U18 women's group participation age restrictions, high school students can participate. The competition is divided into three stages:
In the first stage, the top 12 in the U16 group of the 2023 China Youth Championship will be divided into two groups A and B through the draw, and the group single round-robin competition will be held in the Jiangning Division, and the ranking will determine the classification in the second stage. A total of 27 other registered teams will be drawn into 5 groups (Group C-Group G), which will be held in Rizhao Division and Meizhou Division respectively to determine the top 12 teams to enter the second stage of the competition. The tournament runs from March 23 to April 1.

In the second stage, 24 teams were drawn and divided into 4 groups, with 6 teams in each group playing a single round-robin match, and the top 4 teams in each group advanced to the third stage. The top 12 teams in the U16 group of the 2023 China Youth Championship will be ranked according to the results of the first stage and placed in the 1-3 positions of each group, and the other 12 teams will be ranked according to the results of the first stage of the competition, and the other 12 teams will be ranked in the 4-6 positions of each group according to the results of the first stage. The tournament runs from July 4 to 15.
In the third stage, 16 teams will determine the ranking of all participating teams through group round-robin matches and cross-qualifying. The tournament runs from September 5 to 18.
In the first round of the Jiangning Division, which started on March 23, the host Jiangsu women's football team defeated the 2023 China Youth Championship U16 group champion Beijing Women's Football Team 3-0 with three goals from Li Ziyin and Jiang Ziyi, while last year's runner-up Shandong Ticai defeated Liaoning Women's Football Team 5-2. The competition between Rizhao Division and Meizhou Division began on March 24, and in the first round of the competition, Guangzhou Peizheng Middle School in Group F of Meizhou Division defeated Yunnan Normal University High School 7-0, and Liu Can won six yuan.
