On March 24, the 2024 Snooker World Open ended in Yushan, Jiangxi, and Chinese billiards star Ding Junhui lost 4-10 to Trump in the final, once again missing his 15th championship in the ranking tournament.
Trump successfully defended his title and won his fifth ranking title of the season.
