The industrial Internet identity resolution system is divided into five levels: root node, national top node, secondary node, enterprise node, and public recursive node.

Root Node (International)

There are multiple root nodes in the world, and each root node is independent and equal. Each root node is managed by a multi-primary administrator (MPA). At present, there are a total of 9+1 MPAs around the world that are responsible for the joint management of the entire DOA/Handle root zone, providing root zone data management and root resolution services for different countries and regions around the world.

The Chinese MPA consortium is one of the four founders of DONA. In 2014, led by the National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center, Beijing Zhongshu Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. and Beijing Ciendona Information Technology Co., Ltd. established a consortium of MPA to promote the development of DOA technology in China. The authority of China management includes prefixes starting with 86 and 108, and is responsible for the management and construction, technology research and development, operation, construction and application promotion of China's global root nodes.

National top nodes

It is an important basic service facility of the industrial Internet in mainland China, the core hub of the identification resolution system, and provides identification registration and resolution services for the development of the domestic industrial Internet.

Secondary identity resolution node

Provide identity registration and resolution services for the industry.

The secondary node of industrial Internet identification is the intermediate link of the industrial Internet identification resolution system, which directly provides services to industries and enterprises. On April 23, 2019, the secondary node of the national industrial Internet identification system (Nantong) was officially launched, and the secondary node of Nantong electronic information industry became the first node in the country to successfully connect with the national top node.

Enterprise identity resolution node

Provide identity registration and resolution services for specific industrial enterprises, and define the networking form of the identification resolution system in the factory and the format of identification data within the enterprise according to the scale of the enterprise.

Public recursive resolution nodes

Implement public query and access portals. It refers to the key entrance facilities of the identification and resolution system, which can improve the overall service performance through technical means such as caching.

When receiving an identity resolution request from a client, the recursive node first checks whether there are query results in the local cache, and if not, it queries the answer path returned by the identity resolution server until it finally queries the address or information associated with the identity, returns it to the client, and caches the request results.

With the in-depth development of the industrial Internet, the number of identity resolution nodes continues to increase in order to better meet the needs of enterprises for data sharing, full life cycle management, and whole process management of supply chain.

Application of industrial Internet identification resolution system

Not long ago, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other 12 departments jointly issued the "Industrial Internet Identification Analysis System "Through" Action Plan (2024-2026) (hereinafter referred to as the "Action Plan"). This is the first policy document issued by the mainland for the industrial Internet identification analysis system, the first special action for the new stage of industrial Internet scale development, and the first multi-department joint policy to promote the application of the industrial Internet, aiming to promote the identification analysis system from "construction" to "use", expand the breadth and depth of application in the industrial field, and promote the wide promotion of the identification analysis system to all fields of economy and society.

In accordance with the idea of "331", the Action Plan deploys a total of 7 key tasks. The first "3" focuses on the industry: connecting the industrial chain and supply chain, promoting the application of the identification analysis system in key industries such as petrochemical, shipbuilding, automobile, electronics, etc., and improving the production collaboration efficiency of the manufacturing industry; comprehensively empowering the "three products" strategy of consumer goods, using the identification analysis system to serve the quality traceability, digital marketing, and full life cycle management of consumer goods, and helping consumption upgrading; The unique identification system of medical devices is deeply integrated to provide services for the management of related medical products. The second "3" focuses on the field: expanding the depth and breadth of logo application in three aspects: improving green and low-carbon management, improving safety management level, and improving the level of urban digitalization, and creating a new model and new benchmark for logo application. "1" focuses on the field: promote the upgrading of industrial clusters, deepen the application and promotion of logos in the development carriers of key industries, and improve the networking, digitalization and intelligence level of industrial clusters.
