World Autism Day is celebrated on April 2 every year, and autism is not an introverted personality or a psychological problem, it is a pervasive developmental disorder. To call for social care and attention to people with autism. On March 24, 2024, under the guidance of One Foundation, the Longtan Community Site in Danling County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province, launched the "Blue Action" World Autism Day theme activity.
In this event, the children's service station also invited students from Meishan Pharmaceutical College to participate in the promotion. At the beginning of the activity, the children and students gathered around the table and listened to Mr. Ji explain what autism is, why there is an autism day, and what can we do about autism?
Afterwards, volunteers distributed posters for the "Blue Action" campaign for the children. The volunteers of Meishan Pharmaceutical Vocational and Technical College kindly explained the content on the poster to the children, so that the children could further understand autism and how to care for and help autistic patients.
At the end of the event, the children of the One Foundation Children's Service Station also wrote "My Wish" together with their brothers and sisters from the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the children expressed their care for autistic patients through letters.
This activity fully drove college students and children, publicized and guided children to care for autistic patients, called on more groups to understand and accept autism, and helped autistic groups to participate in and integrate into community life.
