On the afternoon of March 22, Ms. Yang, director of Happy Baby Noble Kindergarten in Dongxiang District, Fuzhou City, said in an interview with reporters that the woman who hit the child in the video was the kindergarten teacher and had been working here for more than a year. Ms. Yang said that the teacher had apologized after the incident, and the child's parents also expressed understanding.
On the afternoon of March 22, the reporter interviewed the Dongxiang District Education and Sports Bureau and learned that the teacher involved did not have a teacher qualification certificate, and could not continue to teach in the kindergarten, and would interview the kindergarten principal.
A staff member of the preschool office of the Dongxiang District Education and Sports Bureau responded that the kindergarten where the incident occurred was a private kindergarten, and not all teachers had teacher qualification certificates.
