The essence of justice

author:Seigen Masamoto

1. What is essence?

Essence is the characteristics that appear in comparison between different beings.

For example, stone can be compared to wood to be hard and non-flammable.

Of course, stones do not show the characteristics of being hard compared to diamonds.

In other words, essence cannot exist alone, there must be a reference.

The essence of justice

2. The essence of justice.

Obviously, the reference for the nature of justice is injustice (injustice).

For example, Japan's act of waging a war of aggression against China is an unjust war.

On the contrary, the Chinese people's war of resistance against Japan is an act of justice.

For example, cheating and abduction is an act of injustice.

On the contrary, people fight back against the act of abduction and abduction – that is, an act of justice.

From this, we can know that the essence of injustice is to the detriment of others.

From this, we can know that the essence of justice is to fight back against "harming the interests of others".

The essence of justice

3. Definition of justice.

From the nature of justice, we can know that the definition of justice is:

Justice is the act of people to fight back against "acts that harm the interests of others" at a certain time, within a certain scope and under certain conditions.

From this we can know that the justification of justice, or the premise is that there is injustice.

Why, then, is it necessary to add the restrictive phrase "at a certain time, within a certain range and under certain conditions" to the definition of justice?

Because when a righteous act exceeds a certain limit, it becomes injustice.

For example, if a thief goes to your house to steal something, but if you defend (fight back) too much and beat someone to death – it is injustice.

According to Plato, the righteous must be the victim.

The author argues that the righteous are not necessarily victims, but that the police, judges, and the righteous can also be – defenders of justice.

4. What is the nature of the Russia-Ukraine conflict?

What is the best interest of man?

It's a security interest.

Because the security interests are gone, other interests are extravagant. Is it the so-called - the skin does not exist, the hair will be attached?

What is the cause of the Russia-Ukraine conflict?

Because NATO is going to expand eastward to Ukraine.

Obviously, if Ukraine joins NATO, then Russia's security will be seriously threatened by NATO.

Therefore, Russia's "military special operation" against Ukraine is aimed at NATO, a just war.

The essence of justice

Of course, there is no reproach that Ukraine is the most pitiful victim in this war.

However, as the saying goes, there must be something hateful about those who are good.

The hateful thing about Ukraine is: why should you be a pawn of NATO, a proxy of NATO to fight against Russia?

Is it in the interests of Ukraine to "fight Russia for NATO to the last Ukrainian"?

Therefore, if Ukraine wants to hate, it should - hate Zelensky and NATO.
