1. Bad people breed in troubled times

At this time, without a unified government management, many people with crooked minds began to fend for themselves, and they often went together and occupied the mountains as bandits.
If they want to survive, the first thing they think of is to harm the common people, because the landlords have some relationship with them, and the warlords they can't afford to provoke, so they can only be strong against the weak!
The more chaotic they are, the less anyone cares about them, and even if some areas have cracked down on bandits, the results are not so good, and the crackdown on bandits is not thorough.
In this way, in the past half century, bandits everywhere have grown and grown, and their numbers have continued to soar.
2. The Kuomintang did it on purpose

1. Suppression by force

2. Land reform

3. Mobilize the masses

4. Treat harmful places
At the beginning of the founding of New China, there were many places such as tobacco houses, brothels, casinos, etc., and these places were often the favorite places for bandits.
5. Social education, forced labor
At that time, there were a large number of unemployed vagrants, thieves, beggars, hooligans in society. If these people are not managed well, then they are likely to go up the mountain and become bandits, so educate them collectively so that they have a job to do.
For some hooligans, the measures of forced labor are adopted to completely eliminate the possibility of these hooligans turning into bandits, which is tantamount to cutting off the reserve army of the bandits.
It was a protracted battle, which lasted four years from 1949 to 1953, and with the joint efforts of the people of the whole country, the great historical problem of banditry was finally resolved and a stable construction situation was brought about.
Now the public security environment is getting better and better, people can go out in the middle of the night at will, without worrying about danger, people can swim in the wild, don't worry too much about being robbed, all these environments are not naturally formed, there are predecessors for the younger generation to do some work, pay some blood in exchange, all this, hard-won, can not be forgotten!
