On March 22, the third plenary session of the fourth session of the 17th People's Congress of Zhaoping County was held. The deputy director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, the director of the County Supervision Commission and the members of the Standing Committee of the 17th County People's Congress will be by-elected to vote on the county's major livelihood projects in 2024.

The meeting was presided over by Zou Hongying, executive chairman of the presidium of the conference. Wu Weihong, Pei Yonghe, Lu Tingyun, Long Dianwei, and Yao Fujian, executive chairmen of the presidium of the conference, were seated in the front row of the rostrum.

There should be 239 deputies at the meeting, but 213 deputies actually came, which met the quorum.
According to the agenda of the conference, the conference voted to approve the list of chief voters and scrutineers, by-elected the deputy director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, the director of the County Supervision Commission and the members of the Standing Committee of the 17th County People's Congress by secret ballot, voted to approve the major livelihood projects in Zhaoping County in 2024, announced the results of the satisfaction evaluation of the completion of major livelihood projects in 2023, and voted to approve the chairman, vice chairman and members of the relevant special committees.
Yao Fujian was elected as the vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the 17th People's Congress of Zhaoping County, Zhong Guangzhu was elected as the director of the Zhaoping County Supervisory Committee, and 9 comrades were elected as members of the Standing Committee of the 17th People's Congress of Zhaoping County. Six projects, including the continuation and modernization project of the sand flushing irrigation area in Zhaoping County, the Xiya Bridge project in Zouma Town, Zhaoping County, and the transformation and upgrading project of 10KV and below agricultural distribution network in Zhaoping County, are major livelihood projects in Zhaoping County in 2024.

The newly elected vice chairmen of the Standing Committee of the 17th County People's Congress, the chairman of the County Supervisory Commission, the members of the Standing Committee of the 17th County People's Congress, and the chairmen, vice chairmen, and members of the relevant special committees of the 17th County People's Congress swore an oath to the Constitution.
