At about 15:25 on March 11, the Xiaochang traffic police received a report that a traffic accident occurred in the jurisdiction, a three-wheeled motorcycle collided with a two-wheeled electric vehicle, the driver of the two-wheeled electric vehicle was seriously injured, and the driver of the three-wheeled motorcycle fled by car. The police handling the case immediately contacted 120 to send the injured to the hospital for treatment, and then rushed to the scene to carry out investigation. Since there is no surveillance video at the place of the incident, no detached objects from the vehicle causing the accident, and no witnesses have been found, the only clues available are the information provided by the police that the fleeing vehicle is a red tricycle with a shed.
According to the time of the incident, the police retrieved the surveillance video near the place of the incident, and found a red shed three-wheeled motorcycle at a surveillance video in an alley, the characteristics of which were basically consistent with the characteristics of the three-wheeled motorcycle described by the injured, but the surveillance video could not see the driver's face clearly, and the suspect deliberately avoided the monitored road section when he fled, resulting in the interruption of video tracking clues.
The police handling the case adjusted the direction of the investigation in a timely manner, reversed the trajectory of the three-wheeled motorcycle, retrieved the driving route of the three-wheeled motorcycle before the incident, and after up to 6 hours of reverse tracking, the traces of the three-wheeled motorcycle were captured at the door of a certain sub-station on Zhouxiang Street, and the tricycle driver was found to have dragged a car of goods at the seed station through surveillance video, and the seed station staff should know each other.
Without further ado, the police who handled the case quickly drove to the seed station, and after questioning the staff of the seed station, they finally determined the identity of Tang Moumou (male, 51 years old, from Hongqi Village, Fengshan Town), the driver of the three-wheeled motorcycle that caused the accident, and the police who handled the case quickly rushed to Tang Moumou's home to arrest him.
In the face of ironclad evidence, Tang Moumou confessed to his illegal act of traffic hit-and-run. At present, the case is under further investigation.
