The Snapdragon 8s Gen3 is built on TSMC's 4nm process, and the CPU adopts a "1+4+3" design, with 1 super-large core Cortex-X4 with a frequency of 3.0GHz, 4 Cortex-A720 large cores with a frequency of 2.8GHz, and 3 Cortex-A520 mid-cores with a frequency of 2.0GHz.
In terms of CPU, compared with the Snapdragon 8s Gen3, in addition to the difference in frequency, there is one less Cortex-A720 large core and one more Cortex-A520 medium core.
For the GPU part, it uses a 1100MHz Adreno 735.
The processor has 4M L3 cache and 3.5M system cache.
In terms of storage, the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 supports up to LPDDR5X 8400Mbps memory and UFS 4.0 flash memory, which is the same as the Snapdragon 8 Gen2.
Next, we conducted theoretical performance and gaming tests on the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 mobile platform on the Xiaomi Civi4 Pro.
We turned off the phone's memory expansion function, turned on the phone's performance mode, and tested it in an office environment with a temperature of 24 degrees Celsius.
- Performance testing

The first is the Antutu comprehensive performance test, with a total score of about 1.545 million points, and the comprehensive performance has reached the level of Snapdragon 8 Gen2, with a CPU score of 401,900 and a GPU score of 511,700, slightly weaker than Snapdragon 8 Gen2, with a memory performance of 345,100 points, and a memory performance of about 17.2% higher than Snapdragon 8 Gen2 due to the higher LPDDR5X frequency.

Next, we tested the gaming performance of the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, using three popular mobile games, namely "Honor of Kings", "Peace Elite" and "Genshin Impact", in an office environment with a room temperature of 23 degrees Celsius, and the highest frame rate (image quality first) at the highest image quality for game testing, and recorded the frame rate, power consumption, energy efficiency ratio and temperature performance of the body during the game.

Glory of Kings mobile game, under the ultimate image quality + highest frame rate, a fierce team battle, the average frame rate of the game is stable at 119.9FPS, and the average fluctuation is only 0.2.
In terms of power consumption, the average power consumption is 3.77W, and the frame energy consumption is 31.5mW, which is about 0.2W lower than the power consumption of the Snapdragon 8 Gen2.
In terms of temperature, the front is up to 38.2 degrees Celsius and the back is 39.2 degrees Celsius, which is a little high, but considering that a female phone with a portrait is bound to have some compromises in terms of heat dissipation, such a temperature performance is completely acceptable.
2. Peace Elite
Peace Elite mobile game, under HDR HD image quality + extreme frame rate, the game runs at a maximum of 60FPS, a fierce battle, the average frame rate is stable at 59FPS, there will be small fluctuations during the game, but it does not affect the coherence of the picture.
The average power consumption is about 3.6W, and the frame energy consumption is 61mW.
In terms of temperature, the front of the fuselage is up to 36.5 degrees Celsius, and the back is 37.5 degrees Celsius.
3. Genshin Impact
Finally, we tested the Genshin Impact mobile game, in the highest image quality +60 frame mode, Sumeru City ran the map for 15 minutes, and the game could be stabilized at the 60FPS level in the early stage, until 6 minutes later, the game screen appeared to different degrees of frame drops, and finally after 15 minutes of testing, the average frame rate stabilized at 56FPS.
Considering a thin and light mobile phone that focuses on portraits, it is not easy to have such a result in a high-load Genshin Impact mobile game.
In terms of power consumption, the average is about 6.3W, and it can be seen that the performance release of the mobile phone is still very violent.

The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, as a thin and light phone with a portrait focus, has a built-in 4700mAh battery, which is 200mAh more than the previous generation, and supports 67W wired fast charging.

- Charging test
The phone starts charging at 1%, charges to 35% in 10 minutes, reaches 59% in 20 minutes, charges to 83% in half an hour, and finally takes 43 minutes to fully charge.
- Endurance test
For the endurance test, we use a professional endurance test tool - the battery dog produced by Fast Technology for testing.
In terms of test items, the default power test will be carried out to 20%, and at the same time, all test items including CPU high voltage, CPU multi-threading, AI recognition, picture browsing, video playback and web browsing will be checked, and the real load will be restored to the greatest extent by simulating user usage scenarios, infinitely close to the real power consumption.
During the test, in order to keep the environmental variables of all models tested in order to maintain the same and ensure the accuracy of the test results, Battery Dog automatically adjusted the brightness of the screen to 50%, and turned off the auto-brightness and adjusted the volume to 30%.
After the battery dog non-stop test, it took 7 hours and 48 minutes to consume the power from 100% to 20%, and after conversion, the full battery life of Xiaomi Civi4 Pro can reach about 9.5 hours, and there is no problem for daily users to use it for a day.
