On February 27, Beijing time, the International Table Tennis Federation officially announced the world ranking list for the 9th week of 2024, in which Fan Zhendong, Sun Yingsha, Fan Zhendong/Wang Chuqin, Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha, Tian Zhixi/Shen Yubin continued to top the five events, the men's singles top ten did not change, and the women's singles Chen Meng surpassed Wang Yidi and rose to second place because of her better performance at the World Table Tennis Championships in Busan, which is gratifying.

The top 10 athletes in the latest women's singles world rankings are the same as in the previous period, but with a slight change in ranking: Sun Yingsha, Chen Meng, Wang Yidi, Wang Manyu, Hina Hayata, Chen Xingtong, Qian Tianyi, Shen Yubin, Zheng Yijing, Han Ying.
Among the above players, the position of four players is different from the previous period, among which Chen Meng surpassed Wang Yidi by virtue of his better performance at the World Table Tennis Championships, and Zheng Yijing squeezed Han Ying down by one place, but she actually did not get many new points at the World Table Tennis Championships, mainly because Han Ying could not be supplemented because of her injury after the expiration of her old points, which led to a decline in the ranking.
