G2 defeated MDK 3-1 to win the LEC Winter Championship and became the first team in the world to qualify for MSI

On February 19, the European competition set off a thrilling competition. In the final of the LEC Winter Championship, the G2 team defeated MDK 3-1 to successfully lift the championship trophy, becoming the dominant team to win the LEC Winter Championship for the second consecutive time and the 13th championship in the history of the G2 team.

The win made G2 the first team in the world to qualify for the 2024 MSI and qualified for the LEC Finals.

Now that the focus is on the future, the G2 team will be looking to continue to win the LEC Spring this year. If successful, they will become the No. 1 seed in the LEC region and advance directly to the MSI playoffs. If the other teams win the Spring Split, G2 will be the second seed, starting with the MSI Play-In Tournament.

In May of this year, the G2 team will fly to Chengdu to represent the LEC region in this year's MSI Mid-Season Championship. We look forward to the G2 team continuing to write a brilliant chapter on the international stage and winning more honors for the LEC region!
