Director, you're kidding, these plots are simply "insulting" the audience

Disappointment with the current TV series picture and plot

What I like most is to devote myself to a wonderful and moving TV series in my spare time, and let my emotions be brought into it and empathize. In the past, whether it was the stirring of "Bright Sword" or the touching of "Lei Feng", it always gave me endless strength and emotion.

Now, however, I am not as interested in watching TV series as I used to be. No matter what anti-Japanese war drama I open, I always feel that this picture and this plot have nothing to do with the word "anti-Japanese war".

Director, you're kidding, these plots are simply "insulting" the audience

Not to mention the actors' costumes, just the pictures made me jaw-dropping. A short skirt with black silk and a cheongsam on the belly pocket appeared on the battlefield, who did the director think of us as the audience? Could it be that a female soldier in black killed the enemy? I think this is just the director's unscrupulous means to earn eyeballs.

Look at those strange edge grabbing shots, it's too big to dislike it.

It was like an explosion inside me, with mixed feelings. This is not just a matter of disappointment, I feel sorry for the long history and culture of China over the past several thousand years! After all, our ancestors fought bloody battles to get the peaceful life we have today, how can these directors spoil it to this extent? I really can't bear it, and I must stand up and point out the mistakes of these directors.

I remembered that when I watched "The Story of Deer and Ding" for the first time when I was a child, I was amazed by the wonderful interactive plot between Kangxi. That famous "wind and water are cold" can still stir up ripples in my heart to this day.

Director, you're kidding, these plots are simply "insulting" the audience

Watching Kangxi sing a song in front of the Jinyi Guard, impressing him and controlling the atmosphere of the audience, this exquisite character portrayal is still difficult to replicate.

Another example is "Bright Sword", I will never forget Xu Yunlong's promise to his wife on the grassland, "I will definitely come back to you". Even if he had to eat horse meat to fill his stomach, even if the war was raging everywhere, he did not give up his persistent pursuit of love and life.

It is this kind of character portrayal that has shaped the immortal classics of anti-Japanese war dramas.

However, time has passed, and I see that today's anti-Japanese war drama has been blinded by the blood and fire of the martyrs of the year. Short skirts and black silk, bunny girl clothes, all kinds of strange costumes that are difficult to look at are everywhere. I really want to ask, where did the crew's research go? Is this the image of Chinese women in the Anti-Japanese War? Not to mention the clothing violations, even the characters are ethereal.

Criticism of the strange costumes of the female characters of the Anti-Japanese War: The costumes such as high-forked cheongsam, short skirts, and black silk have no historical basis and are nondescript, and the director should withstand the temptation of commerce and uphold the historical bottom line

I still remember watching an anti-Japanese war drama where the heroine wore a black tight leather jacket and a short skirt, held a leather whip, and wore a lace mask ready to go on a mission. I was stunned for a full minute before I realized that this was a war of resistance.

Lace, tight leather jacket, and leather whip, this is clearly the dress of the SM ball! I almost doubt that this heroine is going to whip the devil to death with a leather whip or to kill her after she is whipped. The director's brain circuit is really incredible.

Another time, I saw a female Anti-Union soldier wearing a low-cut bodycon dress with rabbit ears on her head, humming a ditty and reloading bullets. My God, if Chiang Kai-shek saw this, he would have to order the director to shoot it again.

Director, you're kidding, these plots are simply "insulting" the audience

The image of anti-Japanese resistance should not be that of young men and women with flexible muscles and resolute eyes, rather than cosplay dressed like this.

I know that the double-edged sword of business inevitably influences the director's judgment. Audiences also love to see the pretty and sexy side of the stars. But may I ask, did our martyrs of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression rely on black silk cheongsams to defeat the Japanese invaders? This is not only a serious infall, but also a blasphemy against history! I implore the directors not to spoil our spirit of the War of Resistance for the sake of ratings and traffic, and this is the attitude that the sons and daughters of China should have.

Camera language renders the plot at the edges: the close-ups and the bold movements of the female characters overemphasize the visual effects, further lacking respect

I still remember that in a drama about the Anti-Japanese Federation, the heroine and the Japanese female spy fought hand-to-hand in the snowy forest. I saw the two of them going back and forth, staging action fights. At first, I praised the director's dramatic arrangement, but soon my attention was drawn away - I saw that the cheongsam of the Japanese female spy was completely torn from the thigh, and the long snow-white legs were exposed.

Then the camera also gave a close-up, and I couldn't bear to look directly at such a bridge.

At the same time, I noticed that the heroine's cheongsam also became messy in the fierce fight. The buttons on his chest had all been broken

Then the plot comes to the city street scene, where a spy girl in a black leather suit is preparing to capture a spy alive. I saw her holding a long whip, a high-heeled tight leather skirt wrapped around delicate curves, and she approached the target person charmingly. I looked at this picture, and I only felt a pang in my heart: Is this making an anti-Japanese war drama or a perverted SM movie? The bewitching makeup, coupled with the leather coat and whip, makes me want to complain about the director's taste.

The plot is unreasonable and unbelievable: the five-person team is on a mission, and the Western restaurant is discussing the arrangements for combat, which is hard to believe that it is describing the war of resistance

Once, I saw an anti-Japanese war drama about a five-man squad sent on a mission to blow up an enemy hub.

Director, you're kidding, these plots are simply "insulting" the audience

Sure enough, as soon as the squad arrived at the enemy area, it encountered many obstacles and fell into a hail of bullets. I watched their lives hang by a thread, and I couldn't help but sweat for the IQ of the screenwriters of the crew.

A similar example was a female agent in a Western restaurant discussing a plan to assassinate an enemy commander.

I understand that these plots are deliberately exaggerating the dramatic tension and creating a suspenseful climax.

Directors should pursue meaning, not commerciality: the theme of the Anti-Japanese War should promote positive energy and remember history, rather than adding a lot of flesh-revealing scenes to spoil history

I want to say to the director, you and I both understand that commercial packaging is the need for the survival of TV dramas. The audience wants to see the beauty and figure of the star, which is understandable. However, I implore all directors not to lose their art and positive energy while satisfying their business.

Didn't our martyrs of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression rely on their blood and iron conviction to defeat the formidable enemy? They shed blood and sacrificed their lives in exchange for the opportunity for our future generations to spoil history and distort facts? I firmly believe that directors should take history as a mirror and not follow the trend.

Director, you're kidding, these plots are simply "insulting" the audience

There is a deep enmity between the Chinese and Japanese peoples, and what we need more is to resolve the hatred through artistic means, rather than create more misunderstandings and prejudices. I don't want disputes on the mainland in the future, because that would be tantamount to playing for the tiger.

Therefore, I earnestly appeal to directors to cherish our Heian era and cherish the opportunity for peace left by our ancestors. You and I should undertake the historical mission of promoting positive energy and promoting national integration. Don't sell your conscience for that bit of glory and wealth, and popularity of ratings, so that our children and grandchildren can have peace of mind.

Serious criticism and appeal: I deeply hope that the director will regain his original intention and responsibility, and make a TV series that truly embodies the Chinese spirit

Ladies and gentlemen, you and I are both practitioners in the entertainment industry, and we should shoulder the responsibility of promoting positive values, motivating people, and promoting social progress. However, in recent years, anti-Japanese war dramas have obviously gone astray in terms of commercial and theatrical rendering.

Director, you're kidding, these plots are simply "insulting" the audience

Film and television are actually a mirror, which can reflect the cultural background of an era.

So I call on directors to put aside commercial considerations, put down traffic data, as cultural workers, we have the unshirkable responsibility to abide by history and assume the responsibility of educating future generations.

Let us work together to reverse the trend and restore the original face of the War of Resistance Against Japan. Through the magical medium of television, let the world witness the indestructible national spirit and unity of the Chinese nation.

If there is no historical model, what should we use to educate the next generation? Directors should take this as a warning and make works that are in the hearts of history

Director, you're kidding, these plots are simply "insulting" the audience

The blood of countless martyrs was spilled in that difficult era, they did not want to be slaves of the country, and vowed to expel the Tartars and regain the glory of China. It is precisely with such singing and weeping stories that the spirit of the whole nation has been stirred up and the Chinese people have awakened and fought as a whole.

Today, however, these are valuable examples of history. Instead, hypocritical fancy dresses and deliberately rendered explicit shots.
