The World Table Tennis Championships team competition starts today. The Chinese women's team had a small upset against the Indian team. Women's Singles world No. 1 Sun Yingsha made her first appearance, losing 1-3 to Aishka Mukherjee, 10-12, 11-2, 11-13, 6-11 in four games. Mukherjee is currently ranked 155th in the world.
Wang Manyu, who came out next, defeated Batra 3-1, Wang Manyu won the 1st, 2nd, and 4th games, and lost the 3rd game 13-15.
Wang Yidi played and lost 0-3 to Akula, with a score of 7-11/9-11/11-13 in three games. The score was 1-2 throughout the game.
