On February 15, the all-flag traditional archery competition of the 2024 Bahrain Right Banner Intangible Cultural Heritage Series Activities, sponsored by the Banner Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau and organized by the Banner Gessel Cultural and Ecological Protection Development Center, the Bahrain Right Banner Archery Association, and the Four Seasons Muge Air Energy Store, was held at the Gessel Archery Hall.
The competition is divided into senior group, middle-aged group, youth group, and women's group, with a total of more than 70 players participating in the competition.
At the beginning of the competition, the contestants held bows and arrows, stood without distractions, aimed, opened the bow, and released arrows. A sharp arrow broke through the air, the players held their breath and concentrated, with the sound of "Xiu Xiu Xiu" arrows, one after another good results were broken through, the contestants used arrows as a medium, fully demonstrated their skills, and staged a wonderful duel of archery.
After a morning of wonderful competition and fierce competition, Uli Jisqin won the first place in the senior group, Geri Lebatu won the first place in the middle-aged group, Baoyin Duleng won the first place in the youth group, and Buren Qiqige won the first place in the women's group.
As an autonomous region-level intangible cultural heritage project, traditional archery has a long history and a deep mass foundation in Bahrain Right Banner, and this traditional archery competition not only highlights the characteristics and charm of traditional national sports, creates a happy and festive New Year's atmosphere, but also plays a certain role in promoting the inheritance and development of traditional archery.
