Foreign media PerfectRec conducted a user satisfaction survey on the iPhone 15 series and Samsung Galaxy S24 series, and found that the Samsung S24 series user satisfaction was extremely high, surpassing the iPhone released at the same time for the first time.

According to PerfectRec's research, the customer satisfaction of Samsung Galaxy S20, S21 and S22 series phones has always been quite far from that of iPhones in the same period, especially in the S22 generation, whose standard user satisfaction is only 61%, while that of iPhone 13 in the same period is more than 80%.

Since the Samsung S23 series, user satisfaction has begun to increase significantly, with the standard version reaching 75% and the Ultra version reaching 82%, which is almost on par with the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro Max in the same period.

In the latest S24 series, user satisfaction has improved significantly, especially for the standard version of the S24 to 91%, the S24 Plus to 84%, and the S24 Ultra to 88%. For comparison, the iPhone 15 has a user satisfaction rate of 76%, the iPhone 15 Plus has a 77% user satisfaction, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max is also only 74%, all lagging behind the Samsung S24 series.

PerfectRec's sample was based on Google reviews for each model of phone, including Best Buy, Verizon, and AT&T, and the ratings were based on the best-selling storage configurations of each model. It is worth mentioning that at present, Samsung S24 has just been launched, and its user satisfaction is based on 2750 related evaluations, and in the future, with more and more evaluations, user satisfaction may still change.

For example, when the iPhone 15 series was first launched, nearly 15% of negative reviews mentioned overheating in September and October, compared to only 1% in January this year. In other words, although the iPhone 15 solved the heating problem through a software upgrade in the later stage, it still lowered user satisfaction.

However, this can be regarded as a wake-up call for manufacturers, that is, the software should be adjusted before release, otherwise the reputation of the first batch of users is not good, which is very likely to affect subsequent product sales.
