Guangzhou transportation is expected to usher in the peak of return passenger flow from February 16, in view of the possibility of a transient increase in passenger flow in some key hub areas during the late night hours, the municipal transportation department has strengthened communication and linkage with airports, railways and other departments, combined with the arrival of trains and flights, studied and judged the evacuation needs in advance, and taken a number of measures to ensure the return of passengers after the Spring Festival.
Bus
The first is to strengthen the monitoring of passenger flow in transportation hubs such as Guangzhou Railway Station, Guangzhou East Railway Station, Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station, and Guangzhou South Railway Station, and ensure timely and efficient evacuation of returning passengers by optimizing operation scheduling and encrypting the frequency of departures.
Second, according to the passenger flow forecast of the transportation hub, the public transport enterprises will be organized to open 24 temporary overtime bus lines to further improve the night bus service level of the transportation hub;
Third, according to the operation of the night high-speed rail train at Guangzhou South Railway Station, the service time of 10 night bus lines at Guangzhou South Railway Station will be dynamically extended to 20 minutes after the arrival of the last high-speed rail, and according to the passenger flow, a number of customized bus lines from Guangzhou South Railway Station to Guangzhou Railway Station, Sports Center, Donghua North Road, Chebei and Foshan Nanhai will be opened to provide citizens with diversified travel options.
Metro
During the return period during the Spring Festival holiday, some lines of Guangzhou Metro will extend the operation service:
From February 15 to 17 (the sixth to the eighth day of the first lunar month), the operating service hours of Lines 1, 3, 3 North, 5 and 8 will be extended by 1 hour, and the operating service hours of Lines 2 and 7 will be extended by 2.5 hours. Among them, Line 2 and Line 7 will run from Guangzhou South Railway Station to 2:00 the next day during the night station express, Line 2 is Guangzhou South Railway Station to Jiahe Wanggang direction, Line 7 is Guangzhou South Railway Station to Jitang direction, the stop station is only not up, Guangzhou South Railway Station last train is 2:00 the next day.
From February 18th to 19th and February 24th to 27th (from the ninth to the tenth day of the first lunar month, from the fifteenth to the eighteenth day of the first lunar month), Line 2 to Jiahe Wanggang and Line 7 to Jitang will start from Guangzhou South Railway Station in the form of night station express, which will be extended by 75 minutes, and the stop will only not get off the stop, and the last train at Guangzhou South Railway Station will be at 0:45 the next day. It is worth noting that the stops along the night express train of Line 2 are Nanpu, Luoxi, Changgang, Gongyuanqian, Guangzhou Railway Station, Sanyuanli, Jiangxia and Jiahe Wanggang, while the stops of Line 7 night express train are Hanxi Changlong, Yuangang, University Town South, Dashadong and Jitang.
Taxis and ride-hailing
First, during the Spring Festival transportation period, special personnel will be arranged to carry out 24-hour rotation to monitor the taxi capacity guarantee and on-site evacuation order at key stations in real time.
The second is to assemble the cruise vehicle capacity in advance, arrange about 1,000-1,800 trains per day to ensure the transportation capacity to Baiyun Airport, Guangzhou South Railway Station, Guangzhou East Railway Station, Guangzhou Railway Station, Guangzhou Baiyun Station and other key stations to evacuate passengers, and organize and arrange staff to do a good job in on-site order maintenance and passenger flow capacity adjustment and matching;
Third, when the supply capacity is insufficient, the dispatching information will be released through the municipal traffic information command center in a timely manner to guide the corresponding number of unloaded cruise vehicles to carry passengers;
Fourth, guide major platform companies such as Didi, AutoNavi, Ruqi, Cao Cao and T3 to strengthen capacity guarantees, guide online car-hailing to go to hub stations to take orders through order acceptance incentives and incentive mechanisms, and increase the supply of online car-hailing capacity during the peak return period after the Spring Festival;
Fifth, guide the Municipal Public Transport Group to set up a short-distance support fleet for Baiyun Airport, and provide transportation services for passengers with short-distance journeys such as Airport Economic Zone, Huadu District, Baiyun District and Renhe Town, so as to ensure the passenger experience.
