Prisoners of war of the United Nations Army released from the Korean War

At the beginning of the negotiations, the UN forces provided China and North Korea with a list of 132474 prisoners, of whom 111774 were Koreans and 20,700 were Chinese. China and North Korea provided a list of 11,559 prisoners of war, including more than 7,000 South Korean troops and 4,000 United Nations troops. Judging from the number of prisoners, the number of prisoners captured by the UN forces is 11 times that of China and the DPRK.

This is a staggering figure, partly because many of the captured South Korean soldiers were added to the North Korean army, but the South Korean army did the same thing, which is a muddy account. In addition, U.S. military investigations show that North Korea has killed at least 6,000 prisoners of war, and less than 20 U.S. troops captured by North Korea have survived.
