On February 12th, more than 30,000 people entered the mountain in Tianwai Village, and more than 6,000 people entered the mountain in Taohuayu, if you want to take the fast passage into the mountain (you don't want to hike the mountain in the whole way), take a car into the mountain to the halfway up the mountain and then transfer to the cableway, it is recommended to take Taohuayu, which is about one-fifth of the waiting time for the entrance of Tianwai Village.
It is understood that if you go to Zhongtianmen, you will queue up once by car, and then queue up again by cableway, and the waiting time will be relatively long. At present, Taohuayu to the city of buses, taxis, online car-hailing are more convenient, Taohuayu parking lot is relatively relaxed, whether it is to take public transportation or self-driving, priority is recommended from Taohuayu into the mountain.
The same is true when descending the mountain.
It is understood that during the Spring Festival holiday, Taishan Red Gate (hiking into the mountain, 5:00–24:00), Tianwai Village (taking a car into the mountain, 6:00–21:00), Taohuayu (taking a car into the mountain and then transferring to the cableway, 6:00–18:00) and other three tour roads are open. Dongyu Road, Tianzhu Peak, Taohuayu and other 3 hiking routes into the mountain and Taohuayu cycle departure, small traffic is temporarily closed.
Tourists are reminded that the Taohuayu hiking route is currently closed, especially the section from the lower station of the Taohuayuan Cableway to the upper station of the Taohuayuan Cableway.
