According to the data of China Unicom's smart footprint, in 2024, compared with the flow in 2023, the proportion of people traveling more than 1,000 kilometers will increase from 3.3% to 3.7%, while the proportion of short-distance travel within 200 kilometers will drop from 72% to 69%. In particular, people over 60 years old have increased the proportion of long-distance trips of more than 1,000 kilometers by 1.8 percentage points, which is the highest growth age group. Going farther and staying longer, it reflects people's high mood for the Spring Festival and their confidence and expectation for a better life.
