The railway department plans to add 42 passenger trains from the Yangtze River Delta to Nanchang, Changsha, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Zhengzhou and other places, as well as 75 passenger trains from Hefei, Fuyang, Xuzhou, Yancheng and other places to Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou, and organize 111 EMU trains to reconnect to meet the travel needs of holiday passengers. Since the start of the Spring Festival on January 26, the Yangtze River Delta Railway has sent a total of 42.803 million passengers, with an average of 2.38 million passengers per day, a year-on-year increase of 61.6%. On February 3, the Yangtze River Delta Railway sent 2.758 million passengers, the highest single-day passenger volume since the Spring Festival this year. The railway department has made every effort to ensure the transportation capacity and passenger service to ensure the safe, orderly and warm travel of passengers.

During the Spring Festival holiday, China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd. continued to improve universal and inclusive services, enriched service measures to facilitate and benefit the people, and continuously improved personalized and differentiated services to make passengers' travel experience better. Shanghai Hongqiao, Hangzhou East, Nanjing South, Hefei South and other stations have strengthened the linkage with the urban traffic management department in view of the characteristics of passenger flow travel after the holiday, done a good job in passenger flow early warning and passenger information exchange in advance, and coordinated subway and bus transfer and connection measures to improve the passenger continuous travel experience. Fuyang West, Bengbu South, Xuzhou East, Huai'an East, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Wuhu, Suzhou and other stations have strengthened passenger travel guidance, and increased guidance forces have been dispatched at the entrance to the station, ticket gates, underpasses, overpasses and other places where passenger flow is likely to gather, so as to guide passengers to leave the station in a safe and orderly manner. Huainan East, Huangshan North, Jiaxing South, Wuxi, Jinhua and other stations "Lei Feng Service Station" to provide reservation key passenger services, for "the old, young, sick, disabled, pregnant" and other key passengers to provide inbound rides, exit guidance and other network services. The Shanghai Passenger Depot, Hefei Passenger Depot and Hangzhou Passenger Depot have strengthened the service and assistance for key passengers such as the elderly and children, and in the event of a large passenger flow at the stations along the way, they have done a good job of guarding the train gate and guiding passengers to get on and off the train in an orderly manner.

Yiwu is an important loading and unloading station for China-Europe trains. During the Spring Festival holiday, in order to ensure the smooth transportation of Yiwu China-Europe trains, the Hangzhou Logistics Center of China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd. organized employees to stick to their posts, strengthen coordination and linkage with customs, platform companies and other enterprise departments, give full play to the advantages of the first and second phases of the customs supervision area of the railway port, and organize the synchronous operation of "entering the box drop" and "transferring and loading" to maximize the efficiency of the station operation. Since the Spring Festival holiday, the Yiwu China-Europe train has been running without closing, departing on time with an average frequency of 8 trains per day, transporting new energy auto parts, mobile phones, computers and other Chinese products to more than 50 countries and more than 160 cities along the "Belt and Road". During the 8-day holiday, the total number of Yiwu China-Europe trains is expected to exceed 68, showing a busy operation scene.

The railway department reminds that during the Spring Festival, the traffic pressure in the city increases suddenly, and it is recommended that passengers go out in advance to leave time for the security check and real-name authentication at the station; passengers who have not yet bought tickets can use the waitlist ticket purchase function in the China Railway 12306 website and 12306 mobile app; many cities in the Yangtze River Delta have two or more railway stations, so be sure to confirm the boarding information before traveling, and do not delay the trip due to running at the wrong station.
