On February 9, Tucker Carlson, a well-known American journalist, aired an exclusive interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin in anticipation. After the video was broadcast, it sparked an enthusiastic response in the international community.
What exactly did Putin say in the interview?
In the New York Times report, Putin's two-hour interview was drastically curtailed, and many key pieces of information were cut out.
After watching the full version of the interview video for the first time, I have to admire Putin's keen insight into the international situation and his arguments that poke at the sore spot of the United States.

Putin's "three answers" poke at the sore spot of the United States:
First, the United States should focus more on domestic affairs than on starting a war.
In view of the current hypocritical and double-standard foreign policy of the United States, Putin's speech obviously touched the nerves of the US government.
Putin's question goes straight to the core: "Does the United States really need to intervene in affairs that are thousands of kilometers away from its homeland?

The United States should be most concerned about its own problems right now, not to fund a war on the other side of the planet.
Putin's implication is that some in the US government put their will above the interests of the people. This obsession has led to unnecessary conflict and instability, while neglecting developments and potential opportunities for cooperation in our own country and in the rest of the world.
Second, Putin believes that Western societies should not be afraid of Russia. On the contrary, the West should be more worried about a powerful China.
Putin quoted the famous iron-blooded chancellor Bismarck, the famous German chancellor in German history: "The most important thing is potential".
Putin stressed that China is not only the world's largest economy, but also has great potential for development.
In fact, the West has always been highly nervous about the cooperation between China and Russia. Western countries do not want to see China and Russia get too close. However, given the common interests of China and Russia, then "China and Russia help each other" is a long-term and solid diplomatic relationship.
3. The United States is leading the Russia-Ukraine war and does not want peace negotiations!
In response to the "Russia-Ukraine war", Putin pointed out that for a long time, it is not that the two sides of the war are unwilling to negotiate, but that the White House has been obstructing the peace process. He stressed that the United States is behind the direction of the war.
Putin told a story that happened on the battlefield between Russia and Ukraine. A Ukrainian contingent is surrounded by Russian troops.
