In addition, on February 9, Phuket Province held a Chinese New Year event (February 8-16), which welcomed more than 70,000 Thai and foreign tourists to celebrate the Spring Festival. In addition, during the Chinese New Year period from February 8 to 16, room bookings accounted for about 81% of the total number of rooms open for use at each hotel (111,000 rooms in total), and the revenue is expected to exceed 6.8 billion baht.
