Hayward entered the NBA in 2010, and the Thunder will become the fourth team Hayward has played for in his career, having previously played for the Jazz, Celtics, and Hornets. Interestingly, Hayward was named to the All-Star team in 2016-17, while the Thunder didn't have any NBA players on their current roster at the time.

Salary expert Bobby Marks then counted the Thunder's operating space this summer, and by this offseason, the Thunder's guaranteed contract total is $94.6 million, the non-guaranteed contract is $6.2 million, and the expected salary cap next season is $141 million, which means that by this summer, the Thunder will have at least $40 million or so. And don't forget that the Thunder had 15 first-round picks seven years ago.
