On the night of January 27, a drone attack by Iraqi militias on a U.S. military base in northeastern Jordan near the Syrian border killed three U.S. soldiers and injured at least 34 others.
On 4 February, the Pentagon announced that in retaliation for the attack on the US military base, the US military dispatched several B-1B strategic bombers from the mainland, carrying more than 125 precision-guided missiles, to bomb 85 targets on the border between Iraq and Syria in the middle of the night of 2 February.
At the same time, the US hopes that China will put pressure on Iran not to escalate or spread the conflict in the Middle East!
This familiar scene can't help but make people think that before the Houthi attack on the US ship in Yemen, the US side also hoped that China would put pressure on Iran and cut off the support of the Houthis!

Why is the United States behind conflicts around the world? What are the root causes of these conflicts?
One of the reasons, or the main reason, is that the foreign policy of the United States, the politicians in Washington are so full of the geopolitical benefits that a zero-sum game can bring, forgetting that politics is the art of compromise, and diplomacy is especially important!
They have formulated a policy that overemphasizes America first, wants to achieve strategic benefits for the United States at all costs, and almost never compromises! Of course, they never care whether the world is peaceful or not!
The costs here include: two world wars, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Iraq War, the Afghanistan War...... When the United States needs it, the United States can be isolated, it can go to war, it can abandon its allies, the United States - as long as it is absolutely interested!
For a long time, the United States has never negotiated with any adversary for the sake of peace! Washington's consistent style is to adopt strategic pressure to force the adversary to submit step by step when the situation is favorable to the United States; when the situation is unfavorable to the United States, it will maintain a long-term strategic confrontation and wait for the adversary's internal disintegration!

The reason for the outbreak of the two wars that are going on in the world today, the Russia-Ukraine War and the Gaza War, is also inseparable from the United States' foreign policy of "America First and No Compromise".
Before the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the United States tried its best to promote NATO's eastward expansion, and did not care about Russia's strategic security space at all.
NATO, is just one of Washington's tools to put pressure on Moscow.
On the eve of the outbreak of the war, there were frequent alarms, Washington had enough intelligence to understand Moscow's thoughts, but it just did not negotiate with Moscow, and sneered at Macron's mediation actions; after the outbreak of the war, it was still preventing Ukraine from negotiating with Russia, and even deliberately sabotaged the ceasefire negotiations in Turkey!
Even if it turns out that this approach of the United States will not contribute to the peaceful settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Washington's foreign policy has not changed to this day!
Similarly, in the Gaza war, the United States kept saying that it wanted to promote peace, but it did not call for a ceasefire, or even block the United Nations ceasefire draft resolution, and then provided unconditional arms support to Israel on the other side.

In fact, as long as the United States condemns Israel, or stops supplying Israeli weapons, or does anything that could end the war in Gaza, then Houthi attacks will stop.
