The number is large, wide range, and the results are good, and Guangzhou has newly identified 100 non-genetic inheritance bases

According to the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism, 100 units dedicated to the inheritance and dissemination of Guangzhou's intangible cultural heritage were selected as the Guangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Base (2021-2023), which fully demonstrated the new vitality of Guangzhou's non-genetic inheritance in the new era.

According to reports, the non-genetic inheritance base is identified once every three years, and the validity period of each batch of identified bases is 3 years. The large number, wide range and good results are the remarkable characteristics of this batch of inheritance bases. First of all, the number of heritage bases identified this time is as high as 100, which is doubled compared with the previous batch of 47, showing a good situation in which more and more social forces participate in the protection of Guangzhou's intangible cultural heritage. Secondly, there are various types, including schools, museums, tourism units, industry associations, cultural companies and other types of units; covering a wide range of intangible cultural heritage, involving Cantonese opera, Lingnan guqin art, Guangcai, Wing Chun, Hong Quan, Cantonese music, Cantonese speaking ancient and other more than 50 intangible cultural heritage representative projects, covering all ten categories of the intangible cultural heritage list.

The appraisal of the heritage base shows the gratifying results of the inheritance and dissemination of Guangzhou's intangible cultural heritage in the whole society. First, the proportion of schools is outstanding. There are a total of 68 schools in this batch, covering kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, vocational education, universities and other education levels, and the results of "non-heritage into the campus" are remarkable. In 2020, in the second "Non-Heritage into the Campus" excellent practice case supported by the Department of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and sponsored by China Youth Network, the practice case of "Guangfu Non-heritage Into the Campus" in Guangzhou was selected as one of the top ten excellent practice cases in China. In the selection of excellent cases of "Intangible Cultural Heritage entering the campus" carried out by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province, a total of 10 high-quality cases and 10 excellent cases were selected, of which 2 high-quality cases and 7 excellent cases accounted for 7, accounting for 45% of the total number of awards; second, the integration and development of intangible cultural heritage and tourism were booming. There are Yuyin Mountain House, Impression Culture, Cantonese Opera Art Museum, Nylon Guild Hall and other cultural and tourism units to carry out the dissemination of intangible cultural heritage; third, there are a number of non-governmental organizations, non-governmental associations, village committees and other grass-roots units that have spontaneously inherited intangible cultural heritage, cultivating the deep soil of "intangible cultural heritage in the community".

The inheritance base is an important platform for the inheritance and dissemination of intangible cultural heritage, and is a specific measure to implement the work policy of "government leadership and social participation". The development of the heritage base will promote the intangible cultural heritage to play a greater role in the sustainable development of social economy.
