According to the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses"
Article 16 of the Ministry of Public Security Order No. 162 stipulates:
Those who apply for a motor vehicle driver's license for the first time can apply for a motor vehicle driver's license for city buses, large trucks, small cars, small automatic vehicles, low-speed trucks, three-wheeled vehicles, small automatic transmission passenger cars for the disabled, ordinary three-wheeled motorcycles, ordinary two-wheeled motorcycles, mopeds, wheeled special mechanical vehicles, trolleybuses, and trams.
If you already hold a motor vehicle driver's license and apply for an increase in the quasi-driving type, you can apply for the addition of a quasi-driving type for large buses, heavy-duty tractor-trailers, city buses, medium-sized buses, large trucks, small cars, small automatic vehicles, low-speed trucks, three-wheeled vehicles, light tractor-trailers, ordinary three-wheeled motorcycles, ordinary two-wheeled motorcycles, mopeds, wheeled special mechanical vehicles, trolleybuses, and trams.
For the quasi-driving type C6, school bus driving qualifications
Please note the following
Quasi-driving type C6
(1) To apply for a C6 driver's license, you must have obtained a quasi-driving driver's license for driving a small car (C1) or a small automatic transmission car (C2) or above, and there is no record of 12 points in this scoring cycle and the most recent scoring cycle before the application.
(2) Applicants for a C6 driver's license must be over 20 years old and under 60 years old.
(3) For people over 60 years old and under 70 years old, who really need to drive a light tractor-trailer, they can also apply for a C6 driver's license after passing the ability test of memory, judgment, reaction and other abilities.
(4) If you originally hold an A2 quasi-driving driver's license, but your A2 driver's license has been cancelled due to being over 60 years old or voluntarily downgrading, and you still need to drive a light tractor-trailer, you can directly apply to the vehicle management office for endorsement C6 quasi-driving driving qualification without taking a test.
School Bus Driving Qualifications
(1) To obtain school bus driving qualifications, it shall be in accordance with the requirements to obtain the corresponding quasi-driving driver's license and have more than three years of driving experience, and be over 25 years old and not more than 60 years old.
(2) Those who are over 60 years old will be disqualified from driving school buses.
