Because the cheapest model, the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, also costs $599, which is equivalent to more than 4,000 yuan, while the budget of most ordinary digital enthusiasts is within 2,500 yuan.
If Lao Huang can produce a GeForce RTX 4060 SUPER, and increase the performance by more than 10% while maintaining the same price, it will be very fragrant, which is the real and veritable "dessert-level" graphics card in everyone's minds.
But it's a pity that Lao Huang didn't release this graphics card, in fact, the reason is very simple. From GeForce RTX 3050, GeForce RTX 3060, GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, GeForce RTX 4060 to GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, there are still a lot of entry-level graphics cards in stock on the market, if there is really a GeForce RTX 4060 SUPER, then the above models of graphics cards will not be sold, obviously Lao Huang will not do this kind of thing.
Its rival AMD, on the other hand, has no such concerns, and this is an excellent time for AMD to pick up the bottom of the gap in its entry-level graphics cards. In early January, AMD released the Radeon RX 7600 XT, a chicken-blooded enhanced version of the Radeon RX 7600.
Although in terms of parameters, compared to the Radeon RX 7600, the Radeon RX 7600 XT has not improved much in all aspects. There are no particularly commendable highlights, but the performance of the Radeon RX 7600 XT is relatively close to that of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB, with a maximum difference of no more than 20%.
In this way, it is very embarrassing for Nvidia, because the official MSRP of the Radeon RX 7600 XT16 GB Edition is only $329, which is the same price as the previous generation GeForce RTX 3060, while the official MSRP of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB Edition is $499.

On the other hand, the price of graphics cards is affected by the whole body, and since the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti has begun to reduce its price, it is likely that the GeForce RTX 4060 and the previous generation GeForce RTX 3060 will also be reduced.
I have to say that AMD's launch of the Radeon RX 7600 XT is quite aggressive, which is equivalent to backstabbing NVIDIA in the entry-level graphics card market. Therefore, in this context, friends who are interested in buying an entry-level graphics card in the near future, if they are not in a hurry, can wait a little longer.
