Early in the morning of January 24, Liu Yang, a teacher from Wenjing School in Pujiang County, Chengdu, had started a car and went to visit homes with his colleagues, and they planned to visit two households in the morning. Like Liu Yang and others, hundreds of teachers and staff from primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in Pujiang County, Chengdu City, as well as cadres from the Education Bureau, also made their way to visit their homes.
From the winter vacation of 2022, the "Teacher Visit" activity at the end of each semester has become a "compulsory course" for Pujiang County faculty and staff and bureau cadres. Over the past two years, more than 10,000 teachers and staff and cadres have participated in the visits, visited more than 50,000 students' families, and collected more than 1,400 parents' opinions and suggestions.

Since the launch of the "Teacher Visits", the Pujiang County Education Bureau has researched and formulated the "Pujiang Three-Year Action Plan for Excellent Education" in response to the opinions and suggestions collected, and promoted the implementation in batches. In the past two years, 7 school playgrounds have been renovated, 20 online classrooms have been upgraded, 7,000 sets of desks and chairs have been renewed, 1,000 sets of student beds have been renovated, 4 schools have been renovated and expanded, more than 3,800 degrees have been expanded, 383 students with special difficulties have been helped and subsidized, and high-quality educational resources in central urban areas such as Chengdu No. 7 Middle School, Jiaxiang, Golden Apple, and Yandaojie Primary School have been introduced to cooperate in running schools......
Education requires heart-to-heart bonding
"Education is a two-way street, school and family. More than 30 parents took the initiative to sign up for the "Parent Guardian Post" to assist teachers in managing the traffic order at the school gate during the school day. "Parents who are doctors come to schools to give health lessons, and parents who are police officers give lectures on the rule of law...... As a result, our school was rated as a model parent school in the province. "It has given me a more direct understanding of society's expectations for education, and a deeper understanding of the meaning of teaching on the front line. Many bureau officials said that they were "very educated" by visiting their homes with teachers.
At present, Pujiang County has made solid and effective progress in the construction of teachers' ethics and teaching style, the management of education fees, the management of work and rest time, and mental health education, and accelerated the construction of a good education ecology.
