Biyan Ancient Town, located in the northeast of Beibei District, Chongqing, was founded in the tenth year of Kangxi (1655), when it was called "Solitaire Field".

Ancient streets
Because there is a rock wall in the north of the town, it is inclined and towering, and the suspension is steep, so it is called Partial Rock Town. It is an ancient commercial town leading to Huaying Ancient Road in Chongqing, where merchants gathered in the past, commerce and trade were prosperous, and the famous Sichuanxia Lake was wide.

A meandering Heishuitan River tightly surrounds the ancient town, the slowly flowing river water is crystal clear, and there are stone stairs next to the riverside houses to communicate with the river beach, for people to go down to the river to get water, wash clothes.

The streets of the ancient town are paved with bluestone, and the shop buildings on both sides of the street are mostly wooden and bamboo structures, all of which are made of wooden buckets as skeletons, or wooden planks as walls, or bamboo fence paste powder as walls. The roofs are mostly hard mountain tops or hanging mountain tops, with gray tile plain walls, revealing a fresh and simple atmosphere in simplicity. Some small buildings built on the street have open ground floors and are mostly shops. The upper floor of the house is a stilted building, which is built by the pillars in the air, which is quite interesting and imposing.

Bounded by the bridge, the main street is divided into upper and lower streets. When the traffic is rushed, there are many shops.
Guyitai
The existing Wu Temple, Yuwang Temple, the theater building in the ancient town, the tail of its upper street and lower street are all constructed near the river and half corridor to connect the village, it is really a good place to visit and enjoy the scenery, leisure and entertainment.
