In the face of communication failures that may be caused by snow, China Telecom Sichuan Meishan Branch quickly activated the emergency plan, immediately strengthened the inspection of important computer rooms and transmission lines, and successively invested 26 people in the communication guarantee of ice and snow weather, so as to protect the normal life and smooth communication of people in extreme weather around the clock.
On the evening of January 21, the continuous heavy snow caused the power transmission and transformation lines to fail, and some areas in Qiliping, Wawushan and other areas suffered power outages in the early morning, and the power supply of multiple communication rooms and base stations was interrupted, and the wireless network signal was seriously affected. In response to this sudden situation, China Telecom Sichuan Meishan Branch gathered five emergency teams at 12 o'clock in the evening to go to Qiliping, Wawushan and other areas to carry out power generation guarantee work for important base stations, and completed the emergency restoration of communications along Qiliping and Wawushan at 6:20 a.m. the next day, and carried out emergency repair work on the original damaged pole line.
