Hua Luogeng's former residence is a civil structure courtyard building, with a two-story heavy eaves roof, which is a typical "one seal" residential courtyard in Kunming.
Historical origins
The whole house structure of Hua Luogeng's former residence is exquisite, the corridor runs through, and it is antique. The original owner's surname is Yang, so it is also called Yang's house.
In 2003, Chenjiaying's "Hua Luogeng's Former Residence" was announced as a district-level cultural relics protection unit.
After years of weather, the old residence will be restored and landscaped in 2022, and the exhibition will be completed.
Former residence features
The landscape renovation of Hua Luogeng's former residence includes the wasteland on the east side according to the protection scope of the old residence, and uses the original height difference in the site to form a model of front house and back yard. Behind the house, a small amusement park was built for citizens to stay, visit and relax.
Plants such as Yunnan, cherry blossoms, and osmanthus are planted in the amusement park, and according to Hua Luogeng's life, Hua Luogeng's life relief wall, mathematical science wall, leisure square, and biographical circular waterscape are set up.
At the same time, the old residence integrates smart garden elements, and the mathematical achievements obtained by Hua Luogeng are engraved on the tour trail, with a QR code, and you can learn more about Hua Luogeng's life achievements by scanning the code.
