The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that from February 4 to 5, there will continue to be widespread rain, snow and freezing weather in the central and eastern regions. There was light to moderate snow in the eastern part of Northwest China, North China, Huanghuai, Jianghan, Jianghuai and other places, among which, there was heavy to heavy snowfall in parts of eastern Henan, southern Hubei, central and northern Anhui, central and northern Jiangsu, central and eastern Shandong, and northern Hunan, and moderate to heavy rain and localized heavy rain in most areas of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and most areas south of it. From the 4th to the 5th, there was still freezing rain in parts of central and eastern Guizhou, most of Hunan, southeastern Hubei, northwestern Jiangxi, and southern Anhui.

In terms of snowfall, it is expected that from 14 o'clock on the 4th to 14 o'clock on the 5th, there will be heavy snow in parts of central and northern Anhui, central and northern Jiangsu, and central and southern Shandong, among them, there will be heavy snowfall (10~12 mm) in parts of northern Jiangsu and eastern Shandong Peninsula. The new snow depth in the above areas is 2~6 cm, and the local snow can reach more than 10 cm.

In terms of freezing rain, it is expected that from 14 o'clock on the 4th to 14 o'clock on the 5th, there will be freezing rain in parts of central and eastern Guizhou, southeast Chongqing, most of Hunan, western mountainous areas of Jiangxi, southern mountainous areas of Anhui, and mountainous areas in northwest Zhejiang, with a cumulative freezing rainfall of 0.5~3mm, and about 5mm locally.

In addition, from the 6th to the 8th, there was light to moderate rain and locally heavy rain in Jiangnan, South China, and Sichuan Basin, and sleet or snow in the southeast of Northwest China, the western Sichuan Plateau, eastern Guizhou, and parts of northern Jiangnan.
