The original car (Chery SQR6474T1AT9, approved to carry 7 passengers) was transferred and re-listed, license plate number: Lu L3**15.

However, due to the angle and the long distance, the Mercedes-Benz and Chery can only be seen following the "Tank" off-road vehicle on the left and right, and it is impossible to clearly judge the relative position of the two cars before the incident.

In addition, in previous reports, Ms. Xu, a passenger of Chery, posted a video saying that it was her 71-year-old grandmother who was driving the Chery car at the time of the incident. The on-site photos taken by netizens show that the driver of the Chery car was suspected to be a man at that time. In this regard, Ms. Xu denied in an interview with the media that she had previously said that it was a 71-year-old man who was driving.

According to The Paper, on February 2, Ms. Xu's Weibo account @五莲徐八 had only two Weibo posts visible. On the evening of January 30, Ms. Xu posted on Weibo: "Thank you for your care and support, I will tell you as soon as there is new information! It is not easy to come to Hainan, I hope it is not all troubles", and on the afternoon of January 31, Ms. Xu posted on Weibo: "Thank you Chery for accompanying you along the way, thank you to the Xu Wen police for giving the results of the processing as quickly as possible, and thank you fans and friends for their voice and support." The other party was also duly punished. By February 4, the account was no longer searchable on Weibo.
