Zou Shiming, 42, is 1.62 meters tall and was born in a county seat in Guizhou. Compared to his peers, Zou Shiming officially started practicing competitive sports very late, not taking up martial arts until he was 14 years old, and switched to boxing two years later. Zou Shiming was selected for the training list of the Chinese boxing national team in 1999 and has since grown into a leading figure in the Chinese boxing team.
