Following the 2024 Chinese New Year Reception of Overseas Chinese in Japan held by the Chinese Embassy in Japan on February 2, the 2024 China-Japan Women's New Year Party of the Japan-China Friendship Association of Tokyo also made its debut at a Chinese restaurant in Shimbashi, Tokyo, on the Southern New Year's Day.

Ding Yue said that when the Noto earthquake occurred this year, Nie Shen and I were also very anxious, and we had just visited Ishikawa Prefecture before that, and there were many friends who were engaged in Sino-Japanese friendship work, and we also sent greetings to them and sent our hearts.

Ding Yue said: I believe that with the assistance of the Japanese government and all parties, my friends in Ishikawa Prefecture will soon recover from the earthquake. I also hope that this year, all of you will continue to make use of our female strengths in your respective fields and contribute to the development of Japan-China relations.
