According to the latest sales report, Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dongfeng Motor") sold a total of 274,000 vehicles in January 2024, a year-on-year increase of 120.2%, and its sales in the first month ushered in a "good start".
In the passenger car segment, Dongfeng Motor sold 226,000 units in January, a year-on-year increase of 121.7%. Among them, the sales of self-owned brand passenger cars in January were 84,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 134.1%, and the sales of joint venture brand passenger cars were 142,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 115.1%. In the commercial vehicle segment, sales in January totaled 4.8 units, reflecting a 113.1% y/y increase. Exports totaled 18,700 units in January, reflecting a 14.9% y/y increase.
In January, the three major brands of Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle ushered in a "good start", among which Dongfeng Fengshen sold 17,000 units in January, a year-on-year increase of 128.6%; Dongfeng Yipai's first car eπ007 exceeded 10,000 orders on the first day; and Dongfeng Nano sold more than 5,000 units in the first month of listing.
VOYAH maintained its rapid development momentum, delivering 7,000 new vehicles in January, a year-on-year increase of 355%. Dongfeng Nissan sold 76,000 units in January, a year-on-year increase of 115.6%. Dongfeng Honda sold 65,000 units in January, up 113.3% year-on-year. DPCA sold 6,000 units in January, a year-on-year increase of 21.8%.
Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle sold 16,000 units in January, up 216.9% year-on-year. Dongfeng sold 15,000 vehicles in January, a year-on-year increase of 175.7%. Dongfeng Liuzhou sold 13,000 units in January, up 65.4% y/y. Zhengzhou Nissan sold 3,000 units in January, a year-on-year increase of 80.2%. Dongfeng Special Merchant sold 2,000 units in January, a year-on-year increase of 129.9%.
The "good start" in the first month is a phased achievement of Dongfeng Motor in optimizing its strategic layout and accelerating its transformation breakthroughs.
