Real-life case 1
Recently, Xue, a member of the public in the jurisdiction of the Fourth Division, received a call from "Douyin customer service", saying that she had opened the "Douyin Live Member" service, and if she did not cancel it, she would deduct 800 yuan every month, and a total of 9,600 yuan a year. Then the "customer service" said that she could help Ms. Xue cancel this service, so Ms. Xue clicked on the website of 5***6.cn according to the other party's instructions (vigilance: the website is a fraudulent website) to download the "Yunxin Meeting" software, and the other party told her that she could cancel the Douyin live broadcast membership by following the following steps, and then she opened Douyin, Alipay, Agricultural Bank of China and other APPs...... In the dialog box of the chat, the other party sent Ms. Xue some QR codes and asked her to scan them with Douyin, WeChat, and Alipay, and the business could not be canceled after scanning, and the other party asked her to open the mobile banking app of the Agricultural Bank of China and transfer the fixed deposit of the bank card to the current account. Then, enter the name of the person the person the other person told her in the transfer module, and enter a string of numbers on the next line 129983 (note: this number is not a verification code, but the amount to be transferred). The other party kept dictating some illogical numbers for her to click on confirm and enter the payment password, and told Ms. Xue that after the cancellation was completed, the money transferred out would be returned to the card in the same way. Then enter the person's name again and then enter the number 19999. After Ms. Xue completed the operation according to the other party's description, she still failed to cancel the Douyin Live membership. The other party said that her money had been frozen, and 40,000 yuan was transferred to unfreeze, and Ms. Xue woke up at this time and found that she had suffered a telecom network fraud, with a total loss of 149982 yuan!
Real case 2
In September 2023 (the specific time is unknown), Lu, a member of the public in the jurisdiction of the Fourth Division, bought a cinnabar bracelet on the "Douyin" APP. At 12:27 on January 30, 2024, Lu received a call from a self-proclaimed Douyin customer service call (150XXXX2831) saying that the bracelet he purchased was given a three-month insurance policy, and if it is not canceled today, 800 yuan of premium will be deducted next month. Lv downloaded the "Yunxin Meeting" APP and registered according to the instructions of the other party, and the other party sent Lv a Douyin account security electronic insurance policy through the "Yunxin Meeting", and after entering the verification code, Lv received a deduction text message from the Postal Savings Bank of China under his name, showing that 118,990 yuan was deducted, and he realized that he had been deceived and called the police.

Scam routines
01. Pretending to be "Douyin customer service"
Scammers pretend to be Douyin customer service and ask the victim to turn off this service on the grounds that the victim has opened a service such as "Douyin Member", otherwise there will be a deduction or affect the credit investigation.
02. Contact the "Customer Service Specialist"
The scammer guides the victim to contact the "customer service specialist" to close the service online by clicking on the URL link or downloading the APP, and asks the victim to transfer the funds in the bank account or the loan applied for on the online loan platform to the current bank account on the grounds of "account verification", "capital verification" and "unfreezing".
03. Induce transfers
The "customer service specialist" tricked the victim into constantly scanning the QR code or transferring money to the designated bank account on the grounds of "cancellation failure", "operation error" and "review failure".
Anti-fraud reminders
Anyone who claims to be a customer service and asks to close various services and guides the operation of transfer and remittance on the grounds that it will automatically deduct fees and affect credit investigation is not closed!
Police remind
1. As long as the "customer service" requires the operation of loan products such as "transfer and remittance" or "borrowing", ignore it.
2. If you are accidentally deceived, please call 110 to report to the police immediately, and save chat records, transfer records and other relevant evidence, do not look for rights protection agencies on the Internet and other channels to avoid being deceived twice!
