At the beginning of February, the auto complaint platform released the domestic auto complaint ranking for January 2024, and a total of 30 models were shortlisted.
As in December last year, North and South Toyota accounted for five of the top 10 models in the list of complaints. Among them, FAW Toyota RAV4 Rongfang has increased the number of complaints, and it is still the champion of the complaint list.
Next, let's briefly analyze the general situation of the domestic auto complaint list in January 2024.
The first two are all models owned by FAW Toyota, the first place has been said to be Toyota RAV4 Rongfang, and the second place is also a model of FAW Toyota, Toyota Corolla.
According to the data, the number of complaints about Toyota RAV4 Rongfang in January this year increased significantly compared with December last year, reaching 526. Complaints from car owners are more concentrated, mainly due to rust on the body and system upgrades. The car quick review noticed that in December last year, the RAV4 Rongfang customer complaints were more concentrated, and the problem was also the body rust and system upgrade.
Corolla had 152 complaints, significantly fewer than in December. In addition to exhaust failures, the problem that Corolla has been complained about more often by customers is the cracking of the instrument panel. In the first two months of complaints, the main problems that the Corolla mainly had were exhaust failures and system upgrades. In other words, Corolla's complaints are still high, and the dashboard has cracked.
In FAW Toyota models, in fact, the cracking of the dashboard is still relatively common, and the Ruizhi and Crown, which have been discontinued, exist.
In third place on the complaint list is Changan Auchan X7 PLUS, with 125 complaints. The main reasons for customer complaints are system upgrades and voice failures. It should be said that compared to Toyota's rusty body and cracked dashboard, the problems of Changan Auchan X7 PLUS are not big.
The 4th to 6th places on the list of complaints are all Toyota's models. The three cars are GAC Toyota Leiling, GAC Toyota Fenglanda and FAW Toyota Corolla Ruifang. The problems complained about are also exactly the same, they are all exhaust failures and high fuel consumption.
It seems that this time, the blockage of Toyota's particle trap is a large-scale outbreak regardless of the model.
The other four models in the top 10 of the complaint list are the Geely Galaxy L7, BAIC Rubik's Cube, Tiggo 8 PLUS and Haval H6. Judging from the complaints, these four models also do not have major quality problems. Galaxy L7 is because of price changes and inaccurate mileage, BAIC Rubik's Cube and Tiggo 8 PLUS are also system upgrades and voice failures, and Haval H6 is also a charge and system problem.
After reading the top 10 complaints in January this year, you may find a problem carefully: none of the German cars have been shortlisted.
In fact, not only in January this year, but also in November and December last year, there were no German cars in the top 10 models on the complaint list. This also shows that it is not necessary to believe that Japanese cars are better quality than German cars today.
