He sold the first order to a buyer in Shanghai, who used the software to cheat in Shanghai. After defrauding hundreds of thousands of yuan, the buyer in Shanghai was arrested, and Pu Qun was arrested.
He unfortunately passed away on the way back to Beijing

In August 2022, Yao Zhitao was driving back to Beijing from Hefei when he suddenly became unwell in Shandong Province, and finally passed away at the age of 63.
On February 23, 2023, the Xicheng Branch of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau transferred the case to the Xicheng District Procuratorate of Beijing for review and prosecution.

Moreover, this app cannot be downloaded through a regular mobile phone app store, and can only be downloaded through a compressed package sent by the other party. On May 23, 2023, the Xicheng District Procuratorate filed a public prosecution with the Xicheng District Court on suspicion of fraud among four Puqun people.
It was not until the first trial that the four defendants learned of Yao Zhitao's death. Cui Gengen, an assistant prosecutor involved in the handling of the case, said that he was concerned at the time, and when Hu Hanhan heard the news, she also looked up at her lawyer, as if to confirm the truth of the news.
The atmosphere of the courtroom also became solemn, and the defendant did not expect that what he thought was just to cheat people out of money, and even let the other party take his life.
On December 19, 2023, the Beijing No. 2 Intermediate People's Court sentenced Pu Qun to 13 years in prison for fraud, which was combined with the judgment of Pu Qun's gang in Shanghai to commit fraud by using a fake futures platform, and decided to enforce the sentence of 14 years and 10 months, and the defendant Hu Hanhan and three others were sentenced to prison terms ranging from 11 years and six months to six years.
It is understood that the assets of the four defendants have been frozen, with a market value of nearly 5 million yuan, and the procuratorate is further investigating the whereabouts of the stolen money.
