At 21:49 on January 30, 2024, the Yunyan District Fire and Rescue Brigade of Guiyang City received a report from the masses that a fire broke out in a resident's home on the 14th floor of Unit 2, Building A, Dongshan No. 1. At 21:50, the fire rescue force was immediately dispatched. At 10:25 p.m., the save ended. One trapped person was rescued at the scene and immediately sent to the hospital for treatment, but he died after all-out rescue.
After preliminary investigation, the cause of the fire was caused by fireworks and firecrackers, and sparks splashed into the room to ignite debris. During the rescue process, it was found that the fire hydrant could not be used normally due to the lack of hose interface. One trapped person was rescued at the scene and immediately sent to the hospital for treatment, but he died after all-out rescue.
In response to the problems found in the rescue process, the Yunyan District Government has set up a working group to investigate, and the relevant situation will be announced in accordance with regulations.

01 Nanjing

02 Chongqing
In August 2022, a fire broke out in a residential building in Chongqing, billowing smoke poured out of the window, and when the owner took a fire extinguisher to save himself, he found that the intact fire-fighting equipment could not be used. Later, the owner inspected and found that the fire extinguisher in the corridor had expired.
"Golden 10 minutes" can save lives, it is necessary to be equipped with fire-fighting equipment, usually do a good job of fire safety inspection, maintain fire-fighting equipment, in order to stifle the fire in the early stage.
The Fire Protection Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates
Article 28 No unit or individual shall damage, embezzle, or dismantle or stop using fire-fighting facilities and equipment without authorization, shall not bury, occupy, or block fire hydrants or occupy fire spacing, and shall not occupy, block, or close evacuation passages, safety exits, and fire truck passages. Doors and windows in crowded places shall not be equipped with obstacles that affect escape and fire fighting and rescue.
Article 29 The unit responsible for the maintenance and management of public fire-fighting facilities shall keep the public fire-fighting facilities such as fire water supply, fire communications, and fire truck passages intact and effective. If the fire brigade may be affected in the construction of roads, power outages, water outages, and communication lines, the relevant units must notify the local fire and rescue agencies in advance.
