On February 2, Chery Holding Group announced its sales volume in January 2024: the group sold 201,000 self-owned brand vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 107.5%, and its monthly sales exceeded 200,000 units for the fourth consecutive month.
Specifically, among the main independent passenger car brands of Chery Group, Chery brand sold 135,100 units in January, a year-on-year increase of 93%, Xingtu brand sold 8,930 units in January, a year-on-year increase of 87.9%, and Jietu brand sold 43,000 units in January, a year-on-year increase of 168.3%, and ushered in the 1 million vehicles off the assembly line in January, which took 65 months.
In addition, Chery Group launched or released a number of high-end electric products on the super hybrid and E0X platforms in January. At the beginning of this year, the Chery Fengyun A8, which is the first to be equipped with the Qikunpeng super hybrid C-DM, was officially launched, and the Jietu Shanhai T2, also based on the Kunpeng super hybrid C-DM, rolled off the assembly line on January 22 and is scheduled to be launched in the first quarter of 2024.

In terms of high-end pure electric products, under the pressure of the price war of competing products, Chery announced at the beginning of the year that the first model of the Xingtu Star Era, the Xingtu Star Era ES, will add a version of less than 200,000 yuan, which is 27,000 yuan lower than the previous starting price, and the price of other versions is reduced by 20,000 yuan.
