On April 1, 2021, Jue County was awarded the "Hometown of Basketball".
●The successive county party committees and county governments of Jue County are very concerned about and support the development of basketball. In 2013, the county party committee and the county government formulated and promulgated the "Decision on Accelerating the Construction of Cultural Business Cards", raising the "hometown of basketball" to the height of cultural business cards.
At present, the 6 indoor venues of the Jue County Sports Center can accommodate large-scale events, and the 8 venues distributed in the county are reduced to zero, bringing convenience to the masses.
● Since the 60s of the last century, the emergence of the Huang Basketball, the county has made great efforts in the training mechanism, "Yibin area juvenile amateur sports school basketball women's basketball training class", "Sichuan Province youth basketball key class", "the sixth batch of national training sports reserve talent pilot school" and other talent training bases have been established, amateur sports schools have trained a total of 576 basketball players, for all levels of professional sports teams, colleges and universities to send 161 basketball players, plus has a number of national referees and coaches, basketball has become one of the representative business cards of the county.
