No. 1 Wenjie Automobile
The sales volume of Wenjie Automobile in January was 32,973 units, an increase of 34.76% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 654.1%. After continuing to maintain a high growth momentum in 2024, Wenjie has finally created a miracle: surpassing the ideal to become the sales champion of the new car-making force car companies.
It is worth noting that the delivery volume of one model of the M7 reached 31,300 units. Among the new car manufacturers, the M7 is the only model that has been able to exceed 30,000 units in a single month so far.
No. 2 Li Auto
Li Auto's sales in January were 31,165 units, down 38.1% month-on-month and 105.8% year-on-year compared with December last year. Although Li Auto lost the sales champion in January, the gap with the sales of Wenjie Auto is not large.
The reason why Li Auto's sales were surpassed by Wenjie Auto was mainly because the market performance in the first week of January was not satisfactory. After entering mid-to-late January, with the official decline of Li Auto, the sales volume has picked up significantly.
No. 3 ZEEKR Motors
ZEEKR sold 12,537 vehicles in January, down 6.97% month-on-month and 302% year-on-year. For ZEEKR Automobile, it should be the first time to enter the top three sales of new car-making forces. In addition, although the sales volume of ZEEKR cars in January fell month-on-month, the decline was not large compared with most new car manufacturers.
Moreover, the year-on-year growth rate of ZEEKR Automobile is also the highest among all new car-making car companies in January.
As a brand-new model launched at the end of last year, ZEEKR 007 has been ordered more than 25,000 units at the end of last month. Judging from this data, ZEEKR 007 will become another sales volume of ZEEKR after ZEEKR 001.
Leapmotor, NIO and Nezha ranked fourth, fifth and sixth respectively in the January sales list of new automakers. These three car companies all sold more than 10,000 vehicles in January, including Leapmotor sold 12,277 vehicles in January, down 34.06% month-on-month, NIO sold 10,055 vehicles in January, down 44.18% month-on-month, and Nezha Automobile sold 10,032 vehicles in January, up 95.37% month-on-month.
After experiencing a trough in sales, it seems that Nezha Automobile is going to make a force in 2024. Looking at the month-on-month increase alone, Nezha Automobile should be the highest among all new car-making car companies.
Xpeng Motors ranked 8th, with sales of 8,250 units in January, down 58.98% month-on-month. VOYAH sold 7,041 vehicles in January, up 355% year-on-year, ranking 8th among new EV manufacturers. It should be said that such sales results are quite good for VOYAH Automobile.
