Shimen Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Boshan District, about 9 kilometers away from Boshan City. There are many beautiful myths and legends about the stone gate, and one of the most popular is the legend about the mountains and the water: it is said that a long, long time ago, a cave in this mountain contained a jewel of the dragon king, but the two stone doors of this cave are thick and secret. It is said that it takes ten brothers to work together to find and open it. One year, ten brothers came from afar, they crossed the mountains and mountains, endured all the hardships, and finally found the stone gate, and they worked together to push open the heavy mountain gate. However, the ten brothers, dazzled by the light of the orb, started a greedy battle in the cave, and the stone gate was quietly closed, and the ten brothers were locked up in the mountain forever. The dragon king retrieved the jewel and put it on the high mountain of Shimen, so in the hinterland of this mountaintop, a beautiful water was bent, green and refreshing, and it was named Longmen Tianchi by later generations. The legend enriches the reality of Shimen, and the reality injects new connotations into the legend.

"In ancient times, Shimen was indeed a traffic artery, at the junction of Lu and Qi. Therefore, no matter how the smoke and clouds of history change, it cannot hide the mighty ancient style and long rhyme on the sandwich platform.
The ancients once compiled the beautiful scenery and legend of Jiagutai into a song and sung it to this day, and went to Shimen to appreciate this simple ancient rhyme and new sound, which made people have a leisurely nostalgia for Jiagutai.
2. Montenegro
Montenegro is located in the southwest of Shimen Scenic Area, 6 kilometers away from the station of the scenic spot management office, and is the west neighbor of Jiashan Village, with an altitude of 848 meters. It is adjacent to the two villages of Dongxiang and Xixiang in the Shimen Scenic Area in the north, Wopu Village of Chayekou Township in Laiwu District in the south, and Shangbaiqiu Village of Yanjiayu Township in Zhangqiu District in the west.
Montenegro gets its name from the black-brown rocks on the cliffs on the north side of the mountain. Due to the high altitude of this mountain, when the sky is clear and the visibility is high, you can stand on the top of the mountain and look at Mount Tai in the distance. Mengliang Village not only has beautiful natural scenery, but also has beautiful legends that make people yearn for: in the last years of the Northern Song Dynasty, Meng Liang, who had repeatedly performed miraculous feats, had been stationed here to rest. Because Meng Liang is a hero in the eyes of the people, he is supported by all the people wherever he goes. There is a beautiful girl here who has admired Meng Liang for a long time, and after learning the news that Meng Liang is stationed here, she rushed to make a pair of combat boots day and night, ready to go up the mountain to give Meng Liang, but when she crossed the mountains and climbed Meng Liang Village, Meng Liang had already led the troops to the north. The girl wept and stood on the top of the hill of Meng Liangzhai, looking forward to and waiting for Meng Liang's return. The tears dried up, her heart was broken, she turned into a beautiful stone, and the boots in her hand were solidified on the top of the mountain.
Sighing at this beautiful legend, in 1995, the original town party committee and government raised many funds to build a pavilion on the top of the eighteen pans, named "Mengliang Pavilion". And in the pavilion inscribed a poem to record this folklore.
