Founded in January 2023, Xinlianxin (Hebei Xiong'an) Technology Co., Ltd. has been moving forward on the road of scientific and technological innovation in just one year in the way of "small steps and fast running".

It's a startup that came out of a university lab. Chairman Chen Wei is a post-80s entrepreneur, graduated from the Institute of Semiconductors of the Chinese Academy of Sciences with a Ph.D., and has nearly 20 years of experience in semiconductor laser research and development.

"Laser R&D is very demanding on the site, and I have seen several sites in Xiong'an New Area. Chen Wei said that after the establishment of the company in January last year, he came to the pilot base of the Science and Technology Innovation Center in Xiong'an New Area to inspect and found that the standard plant here can meet the company's R&D and production needs, and soon signed a settlement agreement, and then built a 500-square-meter ultra-clean laboratory and a 3,000-square-meter clean production plant. In addition to the suitable site, the pilot base also provides assistance in many aspects such as rent subsidies and tax subsidies, which really helps enterprises solve the problem of development space.

In November last year, with the arrival of the last equipment, R&D and production began. At present, Xinlianxin (Hebei Xiong'an) Technology Co., Ltd. is equipped with domestic advanced optoelectronic packaging and testing equipment, and develops narrow linewidth lasers, integrated laser modules and other products, which are used in laser communication, laser sensing and other fields.

"With a factory and office space, as well as a basic team of 21 people, this year we will expand the R&D team and deepen the research and development of narrow linewidth lasers. The new technology will also be piloted in Xiong'an New Area, and then introduced to the Hebei and national markets. Chen Wei, who took root in Xiong'an New Area, began to plan for future development.

As an important part of the scientific and technological innovation industry chain, the pilot base of the Science and Technology Innovation Center in Xiong'an New Area adheres to the planning and construction concept of "standardization, customization, low cost and high quality", and has built standard workshops and various living facilities in the first phase to fully meet the development needs of science and technology enterprises. Up to now, a number of enterprises have signed contracts to settle in, and many high-tech science and technology enterprises and relief units have made on-site inspections and put forward their intentions to settle in.

Beijing Pulong Technology Co., Ltd. is one of the first batch of enterprises to settle in the pilot base of Xiong'an New Area Science and Technology Innovation Center. "In September last year, we settled in the pilot base of the Science and Technology Innovation Center in Xiong'an New Area, and the new area gave many preferential policies to enterprises, especially in terms of project fund support, product promotion and publicity, and talent introduction. Tong Haoxuan, general manager of the sales department of Beijing Pulong Technology Co., Ltd., said that when the transformation of scientific and technological achievements has completed the breakthrough from "0" to "1", there are many possibilities in the process from "1" to "100". At present, the company has more than 30 independent intellectual property rights and has been rated as a national high-tech enterprise.

In Tong Haoxuan's view, the close integration of the innovation chain and the industrial chain can be realized by organically matching the superior technology with local needs, serving it, and carrying out technical research and technology demonstration.

At present, the R&D center and test center of Beijing Pulong Technology Co., Ltd. have all been transferred to the pilot base of Xiong'an New Area Science and Technology Innovation Center. "With the platform of the pilot base, coupled with the talent introduction policy of Xiong'an New Area, it is more conducive to us to absorb high-end talents. In 2023, the company's application for the 'high-precision multi-scene industrial inspection robot technology demonstration and industrialization project based on artificial intelligence' was selected as a major scientific and technological achievement transformation project by the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Tong Haoxuan said that in response to the needs of the application scenarios of Xiong'an New Area, the company focused on the customized upgrading of the intelligent inspection robot of the comprehensive pipe gallery, which laid a solid foundation for the company to better serve the Xiong'an New Area in the next step.

At present, the company is negotiating cooperation with a number of enterprises in Xiong'an New Area.

In addition, a chip technology newly developed by Xinlian in the field of optical fiber communication is expected to be applied to related industries in Xiong'an New Area. "Network upgrades require wider bandwidth, and it's difficult to add fiber when it's already in place. We have developed laser chip technology that enables network expansion at a low cost. Chen Wei believes that the company's differentiated competitive advantage can better serve the high-quality development of Xiong'an New Area.

At present, the integrated pipe gallery intelligent inspection robot of Beijing Pulong Technology Co., Ltd. has been applied to the power distribution room in the new area of Xiong'an New Area.
