On January 30, Israeli commandos disguised as Palestinians broke into a hospital in the West Bank and shot three people dead, according to Reuters and other media. The Israeli side claimed that the three were gunmen on the Hamas side.

According to the report, the attack took place at the Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin in the West Bank, which is occupied by Israel. Surveillance video footage circulating online showed more than 10 commandos involved in the operation, three dressed in women's clothes and two dressed as paramedics, with commandos holding rifles through the corridor.

According to a joint statement by the IDF and the local counter-terrorism police, one of the commandos shot and killed one of them, Mohamed Jalana, a 27-year-old resident of the Jenin refugee camp and known as a member of Hamas responsible for transporting weapons to Hamas.

As for the other two killed, the Israeli side said that they were brothers, linked to Hamas-affiliated armed groups, and had participated in attacks against Israel.
In order to prove the identity of the three gunmen, the Israeli side released a photo of the pistol, which it said was a weapon seized from the deceased. It was observed to be a 9 mm Glock 19 pistol, which was heavily used by Israeli special forces.
