Lu'an Chemical Yuwu Coal Industry (hereinafter referred to as "Yuwu Coal") has taken another landmark step in its green and low-carbon transformation and development. Recently, the company was selected as one of the first batch of zero-carbon (near-zero-carbon) industrial demonstration zones in Shanxi Province.
What is a "zero-carbon mine"? It is to promote energy conservation, carbon reduction and efficiency improvement in mining areas, promote low-carbon and zero-carbon energy supply in mining areas, promote carbon reduction in gas utilization in mining areas, and promote ecological carbon sequestration in mining areas. Niu Hualei, chief of the energy conservation and environmental protection section of Yuwu Coal Industry Company, told reporters that the company pays attention to energy conservation and carbon reduction, environmental protection and sustainable development, has established a sound energy management system and system, and implemented dual energy control measures. Yuwu Coal Industry has become a large-scale coal mine with advanced production capacity with great safety, great environmental protection and high technology.
Yuwu Coal Co., Ltd. adheres to the energy development policy of "paying equal attention to development and conservation, and giving priority to conservation", incorporates energy-saving measures into production and operation plans and annual technical transformation projects, formulates energy-saving measures from the aspects of gas management, heat management, oil management and electricity management, improves the energy metering system, establishes a visual data monitoring platform, and realizes online statistical analysis of data. Promote power-saving technology in equipment maintenance and overhaul, increase the application of energy-saving and environmentally friendly products, give priority to energy-saving equipment in equipment renovation and transformation to replace obsolete equipment, and develop energy-saving work to a deeper and higher goal. In recent years, the company has carried out the dynamic screening gangue re-separation system, replaced high-energy-consuming motors, and optimized the control of heat and gas consumption, saving 140,000 gigajoules of heat and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 15,400 tons per year; the application of underground mobile transformers with reactive power compensation devices and high and low voltage switches, saving 100,000 kWh of electricity and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 57 tons per year; and energy-saving renovation of gas pumping stations has saved about 2 million kWh of electricity per year and about 10% of the electricity saving effect. The comprehensive energy consumption per ton of raw coal, the electricity consumption per ton of raw coal and the carbon dioxide emission per ton of raw coal all showed a downward trend.
Yuwu Coal Co., Ltd. has solved the problem with technology, promoted the transformation of coal resource development to scientific mining and green mining, and built a long-term mechanism for clean production. Actively carry out the utilization of waste heat from gas and air compressors, and the annual heat supply of the central area, south wind well and north wind well is 320,000 gigajoules, which can save more than 8 million yuan per year. Actively promote gas power generation projects, which can produce 22 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year.
The company actively conducts in-depth research on the improvement of production processes and the comprehensive utilization of coal gangue. Among them, the "Dynamic Screening Gangue Reseparation Project" reduces the discharge of gangue, achieves a double harvest of environmental benefits, and will recycle more than 160,000 tons of Chinese coal in 2023. The gangue is disposed of by ditch reclamation, gangue power generation, gangue sand making, etc., and the utilization of ditch reclamation and gangue power generation is about 3.3 million tons/year, and the utilization income is about 7.7 million yuan/year. The gangue is also used for underground waste roadway filling.
Last year alone, Yuwu Coal Company planted 232 green plants such as Acacia, Tung Tree, Cedar, etc., and planted 1,484 square meters of turf, which reached more than 98% within the scope of the greenable area, and the environment of the mining area was more pleasant. At the same time, the company took the initiative to assume social responsibility, implemented gangue landfill and land reclamation, and transformed the ecological environment. Through the greening of plant measures, it will be restored to cultivated land after treatment, reduce the pollution of the gangue field to the surrounding environment, realize the comprehensive utilization of land resources, and promote the circular economy and clean production of the coal industry.
