At about 15 o'clock on January 24, 2024, a particularly serious fire accident occurred in a shop on the street in Yushui District, Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province, killing 39 people and injuring 9 people. It was preliminarily found that the cause of the accident was caused by the illegal fire of the construction personnel during the renovation of the cold storage on the basement of a street shop in Yushui District, Xinyu City.

On the evening of January 19, 2024, a fire broke out in a dormitory of the Yingcai School in Yanshanpu Village, Dushu Town, Fangcheng County, Henan Province, killing 13 people and injuring 4 others.

At 1:50 on January 23, 2024, a fire broke out at the Ginza Jiayi Changqing Garden Boyuan Store in Jinan City, Shandong. At 3 a.m., the on-site rescue ended. The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment, and four of them died after rescue efforts failed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

At 14:04 on November 20, 2023, a fire broke out in a single-story steel structure simple board house in the south of Cross Street, Fengle Town, Zhaozhou County, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. At 14:40, the fire was extinguished at the scene, covering an area of 280 square meters, and the fire caused 7 deaths.

At about 7 o'clock on November 16, 2023, a fire broke out in an office building of Yongju Coal Mine in Luliang City, Shanxi Province, killing 26 people and injuring 38 others.

At 3:20 a.m. on November 5, 2023, a fire broke out in a house on Shengli Street, Xitou Town, Yangxi County, Guangdong. After receiving the report, the fire rescue, emergency management, public security and other departments rushed to the scene to carry out emergency response and rescue as soon as possible, and a total of 4 trapped people were searched and rescued at the scene, and they were immediately sent to the hospital for treatment.
